Breast Augmentation (Breast implants)

The proper planning and selection of breast implants are crucial for ensuring the success of breast augmentation. Therefore, it is essential to allocate ample time to thoroughly discuss your specific desires and needs during the consultation. Hence, at least 2 consultations are required and sometime more.

One of the primary considerations during the initial consultation is determining the ideal implant size that is best suited for your frame. This involves identifying the narrow range of sizes that will complement your breast width and achieve a more natural look. This is critical to achieving better aesthetic and long-lasting results.

In addition to size, we will assess the optimal implant position relative to your chest muscle, considering whether it should be placed above or below the pectoralis major. The surface characteristics of the implant, such as smooth or textured, and its shape, either round or tear drop, will also be evaluated.

It is important to balance your preferred implant size with your skin’s capacity to accommodate it. For instance, if your skin envelope is saggy or droopy, you may require an augmentation mastopexy to lift and reshape the breast. Alternatively, you may choose to avoid implants altogether and opt for lipomodelling fat grafting. A combination of these techniques may also be necessary to achieve the best possible outcome.

Mr Kumar will spend as much time as necessary to discuss all aspects of the procedure and create a tailored plan for surgery that meets your individual goals and expectations. Often with the aid of Crisalix 3D Simulation software.
